Job Description:
A company is looking for an SQL Database Engineer responsible
for managing and maintaining SQL Server databases.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and monitor SQL Server databases, ensuring
performance and security
Act as an escalation point for complex database issues and
collaborate with developers for optimization
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies while
maintaining detailed documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or
related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in SQL database administration, with at
least 1-2 years in a senior role
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012, 2016, 2019, or
newer)
Experience with database clustering, replication, and AlwaysOn
availability groups
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database
Administrator Associate, MCSA in SQL Server
