• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical - Surgical (Telemetry) Milton MA 13 weeks Nights 7pm to 7: 30 AM IVS w/ OFFER MA LIC REQUIRED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION -- 03/04 start date only ** " THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE TELE TECHS. ALL RNS ARE REQUIRED TO READY AND INTERPRET THEIR OWN STRIPS. YOU MUST PASS TESTING ON FIRST TRY DURING ONBOARDING."***Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests are now administered by CCH via Zoom Protector meeting PRIOR to assignment. We need RN's to be scheduled for testing within 48hrs of confirmation and all testing completed within 1 week. 85% is the passing score, there is NO opportunity for remediation or re-sit, so we suggest RN's prepare for the test, leveraging the Study Guide provided by the client that include tips and answers COVID Booster and Flu Vaccine required - ONLY MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS ACCEPTED -- 12H Nights, 7p-7a, weekend and holiday rotation. This position supports 3 North, one of our Medical Surgical units. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: May see patients for: Neurological, Orthopedic, Respiratory, Renal, Cardiac -- The nature of the tasks/responsibilities required of employees in this position will likely expose them to blood and body fluids. Employees will be oriented to and required to understand and follow the standard precautions for infection control. A summary list of tasks and procedures that may cause exposure to blood and body fluids is listed in the attached Physical Abilities Job Description. Also identified is the protective gear that is available. QUALIFICATIONS: Min Education: Equivalent to a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Min Experience: Recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience required - 2 years required. License/Registration: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Skills/Certification: CPR, ACLS Epic experience preferred, EMR experience required - EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -- NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Orientation is 01/20 - ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as TRAVEL, perm or per diem within the last year will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered.
