Job Description:
This position requires a self-starter who can design and
implement an effective training curriculum; has experience in
operations management, retail operations, quality management, and
the ability to train and coach others. Ideal candidate must be able
to work independently in a fast-paced work environment with
constant project and process changes. The L&Q Manager will
drive initiatives related to the on-boarding & training of
new/current employees and merchant partners, process improvement
projects, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
• Develop efficient training programs, animated tutorials, and
utilize different software applications to simulate multiple
learning techniques for technology-driven e-commerce fulfillment
operations.
• Train, coach, and mentor new hire Store Operators from initial
onboarding to fully productive and operational teams operating at
designated retailers.
• Provide thorough analysis and written documentation of
operation?s training and functional requirements.
• Design and implement classroom and field curriculum for
new/current hires utilizing blended learning solutions grounded in
the principles of continuous improvement and employee-driven
problem solving.
• Evaluate quality and productivity issues in operations and
identify and implement improvements in training design, SOPs, job
aids, and new/revised tools.
• Define, plan, track, communicate and coordinate the necessary
tasks and sequencing of same to support continuous improvement in
time-to-train and cost-to-train.
• Manage/Train/Motivate a team of operators to execute fulfillment
tasks at high levels of quality, customer satisfaction, and
productivity.
• Work closely with cross-functional team to identify training
needs; design and implement training and process-based
countermeasures to address those needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree required, 5 years of experience in Learning &
Development and quality management fields.
• Experience in operations, project management, and process
improvement.
• Must posses a strong analytical skills, motivated and creative
thinker.
• Excellent Communication Skills, written & verbal; high level of
competency with office suite of software with strong data
manipulation, analysis, and presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work full-time as needed between 6am-11pm,
Sunday-Saturday.
• Primary work space is in an office environment, but must have the
ability to drive to stores within local geography to visit Store
Operators as needed.
