Job Description:
Who we are looking for We are looking for an Officer-level
candidate for State Street's Investor Relations (IR) team. You'll
be acting as a trusted internal adviser to senior members of the IR
team and the management of the bank, delivering insightful feedback
on business performance in the context of the broader financial
market. You'll play an important role in supporting the IR team and
State Street executives in preparing for quarterly earnings as well
as industry investor conferences and investor meetings. The
position requires significant attention to detail, excellent
written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, an
understanding of corporate finance and a demonstrated ability to
deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Why this role is

role in the overall success of the organization. Across the globe,
institutional investors rely on IR to help them better understand
State Street's financial performance, strategy and valuation. What
you will be responsible for As an Officer within State Street's IR
team, you will:
- Assist in the development and management of complex documents
(e.g., management Q&A, earnings press releases, and corporate
presentations)
- Attend meetings with executive management and other business
unit leaders to better understand the financial and strategic
impact of management actions
- Document institutional investor interaction by participating in
investor meetings and industry conferences with senior members of
the IR team
- Analyze sell-side models in detail and understand street
expectations. Distribute market consensus estimates internally
- Help to gather competitive intelligence through research
efforts in collaboration with other areas of the firm. Help to
provide analysis and insights on State Street's competitive
position (actual and perceived), strategic advantages, threats and
opportunities
- Manage a weekly recap of market news, including both its
content and distribution
- Assist in other ad-hoc projects as required What we value These

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and
PowerPoint Education & Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the following
areas: Investor Relations, equity or credit buy-side or sell-side
research, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally with a
focus on financial services
- A high level of numeracy with a knowledge of financial analysis
and valuation techniques
- University degree
- CFA or equivalent qualification desirable About State Street
