Job Description - Program Coordinator (3296843) The Dana
Foundation Neuro / Brain Justice Accelerator at Mass General
Brigham (Neuro JAM) is a newly established grant funded initiative
that will train the next generation of neuroscience and society
leaders to improve equitable access to beneficial neurotechnology,
protect the public from neurotechnology harms, and establish
standards to promote responsible societal use of neurotechnology.
Reporting to and working in partnership with the Faculty Directors
and the Senior Program Manager will be the Program Coordinator. The
Program Coordinator will support work with the Faculty Director,
Senior Program Manager, Fellows, and staff to coordinate training
programs and activities. The Program Coordinator will also play a
key role in working with the Senior Program Manager and Faculty
Directors to create the administrative infrastructure required to
integrate community engagement into the work of faculty,
researchers, staff, and students at Neuro JAM. This role will also
support programmatic activities including public-facing community
events, and provid ing operational resources/support for new
programs and activities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build Relationships: --- Develop strong relationships with trainees
and students, to facilitate effective training. --- Develop, track,
and manage relationships with community stakeholders across all
project activities. --- Build strong internal relationships to
support community engagement activities. Management of
Administration and Personnel: --- Lead on-boarding of trainees and
staff --- Direct purchasing and manage inventory --- Coordinate
application process and interview scheduling for training programs
--- Support ED and Faculty Directors in preparation and
organization of Letters of Recommendations Management of Program
Activities: --- Support calendar and meeting management --- Develop
and implement strategy to successfully monitor and track all
engagement activities. --- Develop metrics of engagement and
success for reporting. --- Work with ED to ensure administrative
and financial management of all engagement and outreach activities
and events. Support all Neuro JAM training work as identified and
assigned by the ED and Faculty Directors EXPERIENCE: ---
Demonstrated progressively responsible experience in community
engagement and outreach work; strong preference for at least 3-5
years of experience SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: - Basic
Qualifications --- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree --- Proven
leadership, organizing, community engagement, and relationship
management experience --- Familiarity with community organizing and
organizing models Additional Qualifications and Skills ---
Excellence in organizational management with the ability to build
relationships and develop high-performing teams and set and achieve
strategic objectives --- Past success working with communities,
with the ability to cultivate existing relationships and establish
new relationships --- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability
to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures ---
Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, community-centered and
innovative approach to organizing and community engagement ---
Demonstrated experience working within and across teams ---
Entrepreneurial with an enthusiasm for doing whatever it takes to

maintaining strong attention to detail --- Demonstrated attention
to detail, good judgment, discretion, and ability to handle
sensitive and confidential information required. --- Superior
verbal and written communication, planning, and organizational
skills with keen attention to detail and sound judgment. ---
Excellent technical skills with demonstrated proficiency in MS
Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Physical Requirements ---
Ability to meet in-person with community partners and participate
in community-engaged events off site --- Some lifting, e.g.
